Exports
Snapshot a slot's stored states — embedding, scores, freshness metadata — to where your downstream systems live:
{
"destination": { "kind": "gcs" },
"refresh_first": true
}
| Destination | What you get |
|---|---|
gcs (default) | zstd Parquet parts in Tessera's export bucket, 7-day signed URLs |
bigquery | a load into a dataset you own (WRITE_TRUNCATE by default; the grant is dry-run verified before any data moves) |
s3 | Parquet parts written with the vault-stored credentials of an s3 source of the same project and environment |
Options:
refresh_first: true— chain a refresh and export only after it succeeds: one call for "score everything as of now, then hand me the table".pseudonymize: true— replace entity ids with the per-project keyed hash (entity_hash), stable across exports: joinable against your own pseudonymized tables without shipping raw ids. If the service cannot read the per-project key, the export fails withunavailable(reasonentity_key_unavailable) and writes nothing.include— pick column groups:embedding,scores(the default pair).mode—replace(default),mergeorappendtable semantics forbigquerydestinations.
Poll GET /slots/{slot}/exports/{id} to terminal state; the record lists
produced parts (with row counts and signed URLs for gcs) and emits
export.completed / export.failed webhooks. Export volume is metered as
export_rows, except for customer map updates, which meter nothing.
This export record keeps its original shape for every client, so it never
carries mode or schedule fields. A Snowflake destination and the column
groups signals, segments, propensities, evidence and as_of are
warehouse exports: request and read
them with /slots/{slot}/warehouse-exports, whose record also states every
export's write mode and schedule. POST /slots/{slot}/exports refuses them
with 400 invalid_argument, and the export list leaves them out.
Credentials for s3/bigquery destinations follow the same rules as
connector credentials: write-only on creation, envelope-encrypted,
excluded from every read, log, and job argument.
